Grace period
If the domain is not renewed upon arrival, its expiration date enters a 10-day grace period. During this period, the domain remains inactive, but it can be renewed in the normal way at the provider that manages it.
Redemption Period
There are domain extensions that go through a redemption period between the grace period and the deletion period. However, .org.es domains do not have this phase and go directly from grace to elimination.
Deletion
If the domain is not renewed during the grace period, at the end of the period it remains in the deletion process for a few hours. When it is deregistered, it becomes available again for registration by any user.
