How does it work?
It is available to all Webempresa customers, whatever hosting plan you have, you get access to the service.
1. You have to request the optimization of the images in your account by following the steps described in our guide to use ImgOptimizer.
2. Wait for the Email that you will receive once the process is finished, where we will inform you of the percentage of image reduction and the improvement in the Google PageSpeed score. The classic before and after 🙂

Other FAQ’s
If you already have the images optimized, it would not be necessary to optimize them, but if you have never optimized your images it is important that you optimize them.
The optimization will reduce the weight of your images, without losing appreciable quality.
We’ll keep a copy of your unoptimized images for 30 days, in case you spot any issues that we need to review.
Image optimization is global for your entire website, it is possible that on the home page you do not have poorly optimized images or simply do not have images, test the pages where you have several images and you should experience a speed improvement.
The images that PageSpeed tells you are the wrong size, we will optimize them but you have to resize them. They are images larger than the size indicated in the html code (width and height).
In the event that your images are loaded from another website, hosted outside of Webempresa’s servers, we will not be able to optimize them and the improvement in the Google PageSpeed score will not be reflected.
