Mautic is an open source tool that has been on the market for many years. It has a community of developers continually improving it and adapting it to the latest trends. You can host it on your own hosting and work with it in the same way as you do with WordPress. You have total control.

You can create time-based campaigns or campaigns for a group of contacts that meet one or more conditions. The possibilities are endless and you can go as far as you want. With Mautic you can automate entire campaign action sequences and you’ll avoid the need to be behind sending emails or activating content on your website on a given date. You design the process and Mautic runs it for you, saving you time, money, and the need to repeat actions.

Managing contacts and potential customers

Mautic doesn’t just manage contacts or leads who leave you their names and email addresses like other tools do. Mautic stores any type of visitor to your website as a contact. This results in two types of contacts to work with: anonymous visitors (not identified by name and email address) and standard contacts where you already have their data. This model immediately multiplies your field of action, because you can create campaigns for both anonymous and standard contacts.

As soon as you activate it in your WordPress, Mautic will start collecting data from every visit to your website, and it will create an anonymous profile for each visitor. You can use these anonymous profiles in lead generation campaigns, ask them to leave you their data, or in sales campaigns based on their browsing. As soon as an anonymous contact passes you their data, they become a standard contact, but you keep the history of their previous activity. This will give you more complete, better segmented profiles than in other tools.

Contact channels

Mautic lets you go way beyond email marketing, offering you a variety of channels you can use to impress your contacts. You can send messages and track your contacts’ activity in your campaigns, using email, web notifications (popups or on-page messaging), customer browser notifications, mobile notifications, SMS messaging and social media. Our Mautic hosting plans include web notifications and email sending. However, they don’t include pre-configured SMS or Push notification, because these require an external service you’ll need to buy separately.

Once you’ve sent a message or shown content, you’ll be able to track each contact’s reaction and set later actions depending on what they do. For example, if a contact receives an email but fails to open it, you can automatically send the same email again a few days later to generate another chance. If they open it, you can send a different message giving continuity from the get-go. You can create campaigns using a single channel or set up multi-channel processes for enhanced impact.
